Old Business:

Andrea reported 3 Outreach cards had been sent.

Fireworks:            Bud reported Towns of Gordon & Shanagolden will pick up cost of liability insurance for July 3rd and contribute additional funds as well. He explained new acquisition of electronic COBRA Firing System and additional mortar tubes through the generosity of Steve & Elyce Rembos which will be used further down the backyard to conform to required setbacks. The system will enable fireworks to be set off from a safer distance with more precision. He said the display would be larger than last year.

Landscaping:       Bud will be coordinating further tree and brush removal when leveling of backyard begins. He is looking for volunteers with a date to be selected weather permitting.

August Fest is under consideration for cancellation this year due to lack of volunteer help. Final decision will be made at May meeting.

New Business:

Lynne Rice requested and was granted club address list for potential Glidden Historical Society building fund prospective donors. Only those with a root connection to Glidden and Clam Lake will be sent requests for donations.

A request for clubhouse use has been received for June 11th. Bill will have  Use Permit completed.

Bill reported club checking account with the State Bank of Drummond will be transferred to Chippewa Valley Bank upon transfer of ownership in May.

Since Mike, Inga and Andy Campbell will be leaving for further travel ventures in the states before returning home to Australia this fall Mike was asked to give us a snap shot of their travels from Clam Lake. They have been a pleasure to have in the community house sitting Dan Allen’s home over this winter and we will miss them.

There being no further business to conduct John Cannon moved and Andrea Krygosky seconded to adjourn the meeting at 5:46 pm. Motion carried.

Respectfully submitted by Bill MacLeod, Secretary/Treasurer
