Old Business:

Prior to the meeting Lynne Rice gave an accounting of the Howard Scotford’s Camp Fire Island Memorial and introduced John Novitzke of Novitzke Funeral Home in Park Falls who provided the headstone placed in front of the clubhouse. All attendees filed outside to view the memorial. Everyone was pleased with the effort to honor our founding couple. Novitzke Funeral Home was most generous and all thanked John for their interest in our community.

Andrea reported on the Outreach Program stating three cards had been sent.

Andrea said she would have fireworks donation cans placed in local businesses this Sunday. Karen Schmidt, Jerry & Lea Justice volunteered to man the beverage shed during the 4th display. Beer and soda only. Bud will place the outdoor sign out by 77 advertising event.

Bill conceded a whole hog roast was not possible this year. It was decided to continue the pulled pork sandwich menu as in prior years. Volunteers were requested for silent auction items. It was proposed a Community Club letter be used to request items. Individual thank you notes will be sent to all contributors. Andrea will contact Richard Anderson regarding music and arrange for tent. Bill has arranged for the wheel and corn roaster. John Novitzke has offered the use of their PA system. More discussion at our July meeting.

New Business:
Bill and Lynne reported on the pictoral display for clubhouse. Lea and Jerry said Margaret Engler would donate sheet of tin on which old pictures of Clam Lake could be attached with metallic strips suggested by Gary Bartholomew. More thought will go into project.

Bud reported concrete will be poured under outside roof of beverage shack on July 6th and 7th and requested those interested in helping to come along.

There being no further business to conduct Bud Rubeck moved to adjourn seconded by Andrea Krygoski at 5:49 pm. All agreed.

Respectfully submitted by Bill MacLeod, Secretary/Treasurer
