The meeting was called to order by President Bud Rubeck with 24 people attending. The Pledge of Allegiance was said.

The Minutes of the May 10th meeting were read and accepted.

The Treasurer’s report was read and accepted.

Old Business:

No Outreach cards for May.

Sklyar Pankratz of Glidden is this year’s recipient of the Clam Lake Community Scholarship. She sent a thank-you which was read.

Preparation for our 4th of July celebration, which will be held on July 7th, is well underway. Due to a donation of $1,000 Bud ordered more fireworks so we will have a bigger and better display. All the food and drink will be purchased from WalMart whom have said we can return what we don’t use. There was discussion as to the making of some new signs. Ace will be in charge of that project. Jerry Justice will also put up some smaller signs in the businesses.

A thank-you was given to Bud and Julie for maintaining the Park downtown.

New Business;

Reminder letters that were sent out to members whom haven’t paid dues this year has had good response.

Discussion was held as to the seven old crosses in the cemetery that are disintegrating. It was agreed that someone should remake them. Andrea volunteered to do this.

The Club will have a monthly drawing for a $20 door prize. This month’s winner was Joan Griffaw.

Lauren McKay gave a brief talk on the Community Health Needs Assessment Survey. These were passed out and people who wished to participate completed the survey.

Lynne gave a eulogy for St. George’s Chapel detailing it’s history.
