Happy 2016!
With the new year here we have many things to look forward to and one such thing is the Elk Country Atv Club’s Annual Ice Fishing Contest but, due to the lack of ice the contest was moved to January (Saturday) 30th at 8 am sharp! Hopefully we’ll have enough ice by then…. They will still have the same great prizes and there will be a kids division again this year so, mark that date on your calendar….
Many people like to play games and this was the case last weekend as six families the Sanchez Family, the Farkels Family, the Buschlite Family, the Ecalcoholic Family, the Disturbed Family and the Lushes Family got together at Deb’s Y-Go-By and played Family Feud. It was a battle to the bitter end and the Farkels Family were the big winner! It was a blast and a great time was had by all….
I looked out across the lake the other night and there were Christmas lights on Mathies Point. I am very pleased to see lights across the lake! Thank you to the McCloud and Frasch Families for beings my Keeper’s of the Light….
I know news has been slow but until we get some measurable snow or good ice no one’s doing any winter activities….
