I hope that everyone had a safe and happy 4th…
The weather sure cooperated for this day! and I know that the area campers were pretty happy except for those pesky bugs out there, it was a great weekend! Everyone sure enjoyed the light shows and they sure came prepared with blankets, bug dope and plenty of oooh;s and aaah’s….. The crowd sure kept things lively as they watched the displays and the kids had a blast…. Thank You to the area Firemen who shot off the area’s fireworks with great skill….
I do apologize for the lack of news the last two week’s but I was in the hospital…. I’m home now recovering fine and happy to be here! So, please bare with me as I catch back up on the local chatter..
There were several household’s that enjoyed their children’s company four the 4th and they are:
The MacLeod Daughter’s and their families graced Bill’s dining room table this past weekend and then took in the Clam Lake Fireworks and enjoyed them a lot!
Ace and Joan Griffaw and Daughters Kim and Kelly and Families took in a touring vacation on the way to a niece’s wedding. The picture’s are beautiful… and they had a great time! So, ask lot’s of questions…..
Pete Heinritz finally got to make the trek north for a long overdue visit. He and Donna had a great time relaxing at their Clam Lake Hide-a-Way!
The Fanella Household was full to the brim! Patty, Bobo, and the gang from Illinois came to take in the annual Clam Lake Fireworks….

The next Potluck Dinner/meeting will be held on next Thursday, July 14 at 6pm at the Community Center. So, Bake up a tasty treat and come on down to join your friends and neighbors for good food and better conversation…..
