Good Sunday Evening Readers…

It’s about 6:30 pm and the mercury is quickly falling, as we reached a balmy 78 degrees today the night should be pretty comfortable. I’m hoping for another spectacular sunset. It seems to change to a beautiful red as it hits the tops of the trees and the reflection on the lake is awesome! The beauty of our Northwood’s…. there’s nowhere better than this!

St. George’s Chapel will hold it’s last mass for the season in Clam Lake on Saturday, September 5th at 6pm. Then it’s the long trek to Glidden for Clam Lake’s “Church Ladies plus Gordy” for the winter….

Get Well Wishes go out to Pat Dudley who is having some health issues recently. You are in all of ours thoughts and prayers!

George had a great time this week as his aunt Jill Ferrie and her buddy Gus made the trek from Harmony, Iowa to spend a few days with Mom and Dad (Len and Joy) and sister Cher. The boys had a great time doing the “Paws for Cause” golf outing. George really enjoyed their visit and can’t wait till next time…..

The next Potluck Dinner/meeting will be held on Thursday, September 10 at 5pm. There will be a meeting, dinner and then a few games of “high stakes” Bingo….

On Wednesday September 30 the Forest Service will hold an informational open house at the Clam Lake Community Club from 3:30 to 7pm. You can also check out the website for more info…

On Friday September 11th, Birch Haven Bible Camp will hold an open house. (time will follow next week).
