Enjoy a wonderful view of the lake - and beautiful sunsets - from the yard, dock, large deck and the lakeside porch. There is a public boat access on the south shore of the lake. With a depth of 27 feet, the lake is known for bluegill, crappie and largemouth bass. This retreat is also conveniently located to some of the area’s great hiking trails and sights including Marengo Falls, St. Peter’s Dome and Copper Falls State Park near Mellen, Wisconsin.
With a large, open yard leading to an elevated, southerly view of the lake, you will be ensured a pleasant view of the lake from most any point on the property. The wooded shoreline and surrounding hardwoods shield you from the neighboring properties. The lakeside deck and porch catch the warm afternoon sun and the outdoor fire pit makes a great gathering spot after the sun goes down. The interior of this cozy cabin includes a nice sized living room, two bedrooms, galley kitchen, bathroom with shower and washer and dryer. One bedroom has one double bed and the other bedroom has two single beds. There is also a queen size pull out couch in the living room.
