The next Potluck Dinner/meeting will be this Thursday, May 12th at 5pm. There will be a meeting first, then social time and then dinner. After dinner there will be a few games of “high stakes” Bingo. Clam Lake Elk Herd Update (April 2016)

Population Status: The past two winters have been mild resulting in favorable overwinter conditions for elk and other species of wildlife in northern Wisconsin. In addition, northern Wisconsin experienced an early spring green up in 2015 and it looks like the same will happen in 2016. Right now (pre-calving), the population estimate is approximately 130 elk within the 1,620 square mile Clam Lake Elk Range.

News – 4/17/16

Well, well, well, Spring has finally Sprung! Friday, Saturday and Sunday were beautiful with the mercury climbing into the 60’s and 70’s. It’s “suppose” to be 46 degrees on Monday with some rain.
