Clam Lake News & Events

Good Monday Morning Readers..

It is 7:45am and the temp is 18 degrees, when I woke up at 5am it was 19 degrees..The high today isn’t going to be much warmer than that. We can count our blessings though it’s going to be in the mid thirties next week and it’s not thirty below..

The “three Amigos” Pat Dudley, Kathy McCorison-Arias and myself braved Black Friday shopping in Ironwood.. It sure wasn’t what we expected as we were pleasantly surprised as the Walmart store wasn’t very crowded at all and they weren’t picked over for the most part..We had a very good time..Thanks Pat for the adventure..

Pat Dudley feels very blessed and was surprised on Sunday, November 18th as her daughter Kris picked her up at 9am. Pat thought she was going to Eau Claire for a surprise but, when they got to Trego, WI Kris made a left to the Great Northern Railroad Station, Here there were fourteen family members to greet here. It was the Santa (Pizza) Train. Pat’s great grandkids; Wyatt, Korah and Beckett Jack were all there to help surprise her. Pizza and beverages were served on our ride and on the way back we enjoyed hot chocolate and delicious cookies. We went to the Santa car and had our pictures taken with Santa. Pat said she probably enjoyed it more than the kids.LOL..Santa was awesome I must say, Pat said she would recommend this trip to everyone. It was a good time had by all, many laughs were had.Her daughter Kim planned it and put it all together..She can’t THANK her family enough. Pat said it was a very fun filled day. She Thanks you all from the bottom of her heart and loves each and every one of you. She will see you all at Christmas..

Thanks Pat for sharing your adventure..
