It’s Monday evening (7pm) and I’m finally sitting down to write this article.. boy, am I running behind schedule.. Anyway here it goes!
On Saturday, December 1st Clam Lake Honored their Veterans by placing wreaths on the graves of those who have past on. It was a very moving tribute to those who have served their country for the freedoms we all enjoy today.. U.S.Army Specialist Nathan Snell was there to honor Clam Lake’s Veterans and placed the wreaths and saluted the four oldest Veterans buried in the Clam Lake Cemetery. A special Thank You to the Clam Lake Elves Kathy Erickson, Bev Vadnais and Julie Fritz-Tolliver for their hard work on the beautiful wreaths and all those who showed up to this event.. I have to admit this was a very moving tribute for the holidays.
The Clam Lake Forest Riders would like to invite you to their next “Meat Raffle” on Saturday, December 8th from 3pm-5pm at Ransom’s Place on Hwy 77 in downtown Clam Lake. Come out and fill your freezer with some meat packages from Sixth Street Market in Ashland or a Gift Certificate from the Birches Roadhouse in Cable.. The Snowmobile Season is upon us, it’s time to think about Trail maintenance, trail grooming and heating our groomer shed.
We’d like to give you an update on our November “Meat Raffle”.. We raised $900.00 for those less fortunate. The money was split between the Brick Ministries and the Sixth Street Market Holiday Meals.
We couldn’t have done it without your support. Thank You!
