This past week we were treated to all kinds of weather, we saw 26 degrees below zero and now today it’s 24 degrees.. It seems that Ol’ Man Winter can’t make up his mind. We will take the 24 degrees everyday until Spring…
Next Saturday, January 21,2017 the Elk Country ATV Club will hold it’s Annual Ice Fishing Contest from 8am to 3pm on Upper Clam Lake. There will coffee, hot chocolate, chili, brats, hot dogs, chili dogs and beer for your consumption…
This is always a fun event and the ice is assured to be safe as it is 15-18 inches thick. So, break-out your tip-ups, poles, minnows, jigs or whatever you choose and head to Clam Lake on Saturday..
Last Thursday, January 12th the Clam Lake Community Club held it’s monthly Potluck Dinner/Meeting at 5pm. There were about 10 people in attendance, after the short meeting the group enjoyed a great meal and played a few games of bingo… Thank you to all those who ventured out despite the cold weather…
