Good Sunday Evening Readers,
It was an awesome day today..the mercury rose to a balmy 32 degrees today, that’s a 61 degree difference than a few days ago..I don’t know about you but, I think Mother Nature and Ol’ Man Winter are a bit confused. This is sure a strange winter.. Who knows what this weather shall bring us but, according to the area’s resident groundhog who did “not” see his shadow, we will see an earlier (if not, right on time) Spring..
Now that the Super Bowl is over and you’re looking for something to do on Saturday.. the Clam Lake Forest Riders Snowmobile Club has just the event for you! As on Saturday, February 9th they will holding their “last” Meat Raffle for this “meat raffle” season..
So, head on down to Clam Lake’s Ransoms Place at 3pm on Saturday, February 9th (2:30 or 2:45 if you want to get a good seat).. and take a chance on filling your freezer with delicious meat from the Sixth Street Market in Ashland.. The Club would like to take this time to THANK everyone for their role in the meat raffles.. See You in June!!
On Thursday, February 14th the Clam Lake Community Club will hold their “monthly” Potluck Dinner/meeting at 5pm..at the community clubhouse… So, dress in your finest Valentine’s Fare and bale up a tasty treat and come on down!
We are in the first full week of February and I feel like this month is going to fly by..Where did January go?? So, let’s get out there on those nice days but, hunker-down on the bad ones..Until next time..Look out for your neighbors..it’s your random act of Kindness this week.
