Good Monday Morning Readers,

It’s 7:50 and I’m getting a very late start this morning..I’m going to blame it on the weather..It has been in the 80’s the past few days and it’s hard for me to break away and get a thought in to put a sentence together.. It’s a little cooler this morning so my thoughts are flowing pretty clear so hear we go…

Congratulations go out to Terese Bailey this week as she entered a quilt in the Piecemakers Quilt Show at the Weselyn Church.. Terese took home a Third Place Ribbon in the full size bed quilt division. Great job Terese!

Last weekend the Francois house was a very busy place as John and Beth’s son Matt and his friend David Heling his wife Jen and their three year old daughter Harper came north for a weekend of r&r..The group had had a real good time In Clam Lake and are looking forward to their next visit north…

Our Thoughts and Prayers go out this week to Cheryl Miller this week as she recently had surgery and is a patient at St. Lukes in Duluth. Cards of Cheer can be sent Cheryl at her Clam Lake address…We wish her a speedy recovery…
Next week I’ll start putting in Tidbits about St. George’s Chapel..Did you know in 2019 the Chapel will be 70 years old..

The next Community Potluck Dinner will be held on Thursday, August 10th at 5pm. Everyone is welcome…you don’t have to bring a dish to share there is always plenty of food…Hope to see you there!
