It’s been beautiful weather the last few days, the sun has been shining, the nights have been cool for sleeping.. Almost every night the past week or so I’ve heard the elk bugle when I go to bed..I think it’s an awesome sound and one sure sign that the season’s are sure changing as the first day of Autumn is September 23rd..
There are “NO” Bugle Days celebration in Clam Lake this year because of the upcoming elk season and although we will miss all the fun.. We all understand their decision..
The Clam Lake Community Potluck Dinner/meeting will be held this Thursday, September 13th at 5pm..there will be a meeting first, potluck and if enough people are there a few games of “high-stakes” bingo.. So, bake up a tasty treat and try to attend…
The Clam Lake Forest Riders Snowmobile Club would like to invite you to their next “Meat Raffle” at Ransom’s Place in downtown Clam Lake on Saturday, September 15th from 3-5pm…the meat comes from The Sixth Street Market In Ashland.. Also, the WI Badgers are playing the BYU Cougars at 2:30 so, come watch the game and fill your freezer at the same time…
