This year’s Elk Fest will take place on Saturday, September 21st. The event will kick off at 9:00 am as the vendors set up their wares and exhibits. The fest will also feature a DNR Elk Education presentation beginning at 10:00 am. Directly following that there will be an Elk Walking Tour and a Kids Antler Hunt beginning at 2:00 pm. Remember all events and vendor set ups are free. Once again, the Elk Country ATV Club will be providing the food. On the menu will be the ever popular Flip Flop Chicken, hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans and chips. For entertainment, there will be two bands playing throughout the day. Also on that day the Forest Riders Snowmobile Club will be hosting their first meat raffle of the year at Ransoms Place running from 3:00 to 5:00. Sounds like Clam Lake will be the place to be on the 21st!!!!!
