Jan. 11, 2016: The Ashland County snowmobile trails are OPEN and in fair to good condition!
Most of the Ashland County trails have been packed but not all have been groomed. Grooming operations are ongoing so riders are asked to please exercise caution. Snowmobilers are also urged to watch for open water on the trails. The Tri-County Recreational Corridor is groomed and in good condition.
*IMPORTANT NOTE: Trail 13 (Corridor 21) is now OPEN from where it intersects with Corridor 8 south to Butternut. However, from Butternut to Price County, Trail 13 remains CLOSED due to lack of adequate snow cover and open water on the trail.
A detour route has been posted on Trail 9 from Ashland to Sanborn.
