Ashland County Snowmobile Report for January 14, 2016
The Ashland County snowmobile trails are OPEN and in good condition!
Nearly all of the Ashland County trails have now been groomed and all are in good shape. The only section that has not been groomed is Trail 11 from Long Lake Road south.
“There’s still open water and some swamps down that way,”
The Tri-County Recreational Corridor was groomed again this week and is also in good condition.
“For the most part, the county trails are all rideable and in pretty good shape, so get out there this weekend and ride to your heart’s content,”
The Dead Horse Run Trail in southern Ashland County from Clam Lake to Loretta is being groomed today, Thursday, Jan. 14.
*IMPORTANT NOTE: Trail 13 (State Corridor 21) remains CLOSED due to lack of adequate snow cover and open water on the trail from Butternut to Price County.
ALSO – A detour route has been posted on Trail 9 from Ashland to Sanborn.
9A out of Clam Lake was groomed Yesterday the 14th.
