As of Thursday morning, Jan. 7, the Ashland County trails had been packed but not groomed. However, with the additional 3-4 inches of snowfall the area has received since then and more snow on the way, grooming operations will likely resume.
The Tri-County Recreational Corridor was groomed late last week. The corridor was brushed up Jan. 6-7 and is in good condition.
*WARNING: Trail 13 (Corridor 21) from Trail 77 to Price County remains CLOSED due to lack of adequate snow cover and open water on the trail.
The temporary closure on Trail 9 from Ashland to Sanborn has been lifted and a detour route has been posted. 9A by Clam Lake has been groomed. More snow would be nice.
