The Ashland County snowmobile trails are MOSTLY OPEN and in fair condition!
The Tri-County Recreational Corridor has been groomed and the gates to the Ashland County snowmobile trails have been opened. The county trails have been groomed and most are passable.
*IMPORTANT: Trail 13 (Corridor 21) from Trail 77 to Price County is still CLOSED due to lack of snow and open water on the trail.
The temporary closure on Trail 9 from Ashland to Sanborn has been lifted and a detour route has been posted.
The southern part of Ashland County did not receive as much snow during the recent winter storms as the northern portion (City of Ashland), which got more than 10 inches in some places.
The area around Mellen did receive another inch and a half of snow over the holiday weekend.
