Ashland County Snowmobile Report for February 17, 2016
The Ashland County snowmobile trails are OPEN, groomed and in very good to excellent condition.
Groomers report the trails currently have good snow cover with no bare spots. They are busy ensuring the county’s more than 220 miles of trails remain in tip-top shape.
With temperatures in the upper 30s and 40s predicted for this coming weekend, trail conditions will no longer be optimum, so enjoy them while you may.
The Tri-County Recreational Corridor from Ashland west to Superior is being groomed at least three times a week and is also in superb shape for riding.
Several large groups of snowmobilers took advantage of Ashland County’s awesome trails over the past weekend and had a great time!
NOTE: A temporary detour route has been posted on Trail 9 from Ashland to Sanborn.
