Wow..we sure are in for a hot week! According to the weather-people it is suppose to be in the 80’s all week, with one day with a high of 88.. They said we are in for a hot August but, I’m hoping for cool nights..nice sleeping weather!

The Clam Lake Community Club will be holding it’s monthly Potluck Dinner/meeting this Thursday, August 9th at 5pm at the Clam Lake Community Center on Clam Lake Road.. So, make a tasty morsel to share and we hope to see you there..
The Elk Country ATV Club will hold it’s annual Brat Feed on Saturday, August 18th at the Clam Lake Junction Picnic Area..from 10am to 5pm. So, come on down for breakfast, lunch and dinner and support your local atv club..Also, do you have your Poker Run cards stamped? If not you are missing out on the $200 first prize..for any info you can call Rick Guthman at 715-794-2298 and he will be happy to answer all your questions..
If you would like to get an update on all that’s happening in elk research, reintroduction and management in the Clam Lake elk herd, there will be a meeting on Saturday, August 18th from 9-11am at the Clam Lake Community Clubhouse and hosted by the Clam Lake Community Club..with a presentation by the Wisconsin DNR and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Staff.. I think with the upcoming elk season we all have alot of questions and this will be the time to find out more info on what’s happening.. So, please try to attend.
