It’s Monday evening at 7:10pm and still 82 degrees.. Yuck!! At least we are getting a break on Tuesday with 74 and Wednesday it will be 76 then return back to the 80’s the rest of the week.. Ahhh..The Dog Days of Summer.. Did anyone else notice all the changing leaves? Aren’t they a beautiful site…

1st: If you would like to get an update on all that’s happening with research..re-introduction and management with our Clam Lake Elk Herd then the Clam Lake Community Clubhouse is the place to be… Time: 9-11am Hosted by the CLCC with presentations by the WI DNR and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Staff…

If you ride those ATV Trails and want to SUPPORT our local club The Elk Country ATV Club, then the “Picnic” area in the parking lot at the Clam Lake Junction is the place to be for their Annual “Brat Feed”.. Time 10am-5pm.. this Saturday August 18th..

Rick wants to know if you have those “Poker Run Cards Stamped?” If not..Why Not?? 1st Prize is $200 and that’s no chump change! You can also buy a ticket for that new ATV on display that will be raffled off in January at the club’s annual ice-fishing contest..

So, get out there and enjoy a brat or two and support the club…
