It’s Sunday afternoon at 1:40pm..All I have to say is “Let it snow!”, “Let it snow!”, “Let it snow!” and boy it is! It started snowing about 7am with light flurries and now I can barely see the distant shore of Lower Clam Lake.. It’s really pretty, the first measurable snowfall. It makes everything look so crisp and clean, the trees are flocked and the flakes are pretty fair size. The only thing you can see on the ground is the fallen branches sticking out of the snow and a few leaves under the trees that are protected by her branches..it’s a picture postcard.. Enjoy the beauty..
The next Clam Lake Community Club Potluck Dinner/meeting will be held this Thursday, November 8th at 5pm.. So, bake up a tasty treat to pass and enjoy the company of your friends and neighbors!!
Saturday, November 10th is the day to mark down as the Clam Lake Forest Riders Snowmobile Club invites you to come and join them for their next “Meat Raffle” from 3pm-5pm at Ransom’s Place in downtown Clam Lake.. The proceeds of this November raffle will go to the area charities. So, come on down and put some meat in your freezer and help make someone’s holiday a little brighter!! The meat comes from the Sixth Street in Ashland..
Don’t hurt your back out there shoveling snow and drive safe!!
