Meeting was called to order by President Bud Rubeck with 25 people attending. The Pledge of Allegiance was said.
The Minutes from the July 14th meeting were read and accepted.
The Treasurer’s Report was read and accepted.
Old Business:
Outreach: Alice Filter reported that she had sent three sympathy or get well cards.
Park Landscaping: Most of the work has been completed at the Park with thanks going out to those that donated time and equipment towards this project. They are: Bud Rubeck, Jeff Landis, Travis Wold and the Town of Gordon. Blacktopping will be completed before September 24th – Elk Fest.
Handicap toilets – It was decided to order handicap toilets for the restrooms.
Ibond – It was noted that the Club is ineligible to purchase an Ibond due to our non-profit status due to the fact that we do not file taxes.
New Business:
Scholarship: It was noted that Mike Dumholt sent his yearly contribution to the Community Scholarship. We thank him for that.
New sign roof – Lea Justice brought up the need of a new roof over the Community Club sign. It was decided to obtain a small piece of metal roofing for this.
Emergency Response – Beth Allison expressed thanks to the people involved in the emergency response team that were needed at their home when an accident occurred. We are grateful to them and for the installation of our emergency helipad that was needed and used during that event.
Patty Vadnais won the door prize with Alice Filter winning the Fill Your Card Bingo prize.
