Community Club Meetings & Minutes

January 9th, 2020

The meeting was called to order by President Bud Rubeck with 23 people attending. The Pledge of Allegiance was said.

The Minutes from the November 14th meeting were read and accepted.

The Treasurer’s Report was read and accepted.

Old Business:

Outreach Cards – Tom reported that he had sent Get Well cards to Dan Allen, Lea Justice, Bud Rubeck, Tad (friend of Alason Vecchie) and Cheryl Miller. Sympathy cards were sent to Cyndi Masty and the family of Ella Stevens. A Welcome card was sent to Greg and Karen Schoer.

Christmas Party – The 2019 Christmas Party was held on the 12th of December. A good time was had by all.

New Business: Kathy Matthais, of the Ashland County Aging Unit gave a short talk abut the services available to Seniors in Ashland County She left booklets and resource materials for those interested and answered questions.

A Thank you was extended to the Filters for their donation of a projector screen for future presentations.

The 2019 Annual Letter is being worked on and will be sent out to members in the near future.

A personalized hard hat was presented to Lynne Rice in lieu of her recent “Cabinet Wars”.

Carl Kubley won the door prize.
