Clam Lake News & Events

Good  morning Readers!

I hope everyone had a safe and happy Memorial Day. In Clam Lake there was a service at noon, they threw a wreath in the river and then marched to the cemetery where they said a prayer and the 21 gun salute. It’s always a solemn event but, a very nice one. There was a nice crowd to greet the veterans at the river and partake in the march. Thank you to all that attended.

The next Potluck Dinner/meeting will be held on Thursday, June 9th at 5pm.  try and attend!

Here’s a couple of noted from Lynne Rice:

I wish to thank all the Clam Lakers, near and far, whom have   contributed to the Glidden Area Historical Society.  In contributing you are becoming part of “history in he making”.    If you haven’t donated yet. please, consider joining this wonderful project!
