Ashland County Snowmobile Report for February 12, 2016
The Ashland County snowmobile trails are OPEN, groomed and in very good to excellent condition.
Ashland County has received 5-6 inches of fresh snow since Sunday, Feb. 7. More snow is in the forecast for the area along with high temperatures in the teens and single digits. Groomers are busy keeping the county’s more than 220 miles of trails in tip-top shape.
The Tri-County Recreational Corridor from Ashland west to Superior is currently being groomed three times a week and is also in superb shape for riding. It was last groomed on Tuesday, Feb. 9.
NOTE: A temporary detour route has been posted on Trail 9 from Ashland to Sanborn. Trail 9A by Clam Lake is open and groomed.
