Meeting was called to order by Vice President Ace Griffaw with 15 people attending. The Pledge of Allegiance was said.
The Minutes from the April 14th meeting were read and accepted.
The Treasurer’s Report was read and accepted.
Old Business:
Outreach – Tom was not in attendance so nothing to report.
Park Landscaping: It was reported that concrete wall blocks from County Materials will come through Jim Killinger at the Lumber Yard. Work will begin the week of the 16th. Lyn Hartl will be doing his section at the same time .Volunteers that have offered to help are Ace Griffaw, Jerry Justice and Dave and Jane Hebert.
A/C will be installed by June meeting. Mike Dunlavy will be doing that.
New Business:
Scholarship: Lynne reported that there has only been applicant for our scholarship this year. She will make sure the certificate and explanation letter gets to the school prior to their Award Day on May 25th.
Speakers: Brian Johnson brought up the idea of having speakers for the meeting to encourage more attendance. This will be looked into. Cherly Miller suggested a presentation on “No Mow May” as an idea.
Kim Filter won the door prize with Ace Griffaw winning the Fill Your Card Bingo.
