The Treasurer’s Report was read and accepted.
Old Business:
No Outreach cards for April.
Bill MacLeod’s plaque has been put up on the Memorial Board in the Park.
New Business:
Thanks to Ron and Colae Vecchie for donating a new flag for the downtown Park.
There was some discussion as to Bingo prizes. Ace suggested that people attending whom plan to play Bingo bring a Bingo prize. Number of games will remain flexible.
Our 4th of July celebration will be on Saturday the 7th of July. Lea and Jerry Justice and Jan Sharp and Brian Bowman have volunteered to be in charge of the concessions. Thank you to them! Fireworks are already ordered. Thanks to Bud for taking charge of that.
Lynne updated everyone on the Scholarship. We have had two applicants this year with the voting process underway. The recipient will be notified at the Chequamegon School Awards Day ceremony.
Lynne gave a presentation on pre-settlement Trygg maps that show Native American trails leading to a Sugar Camp that was once located near the village.
