Good Monday Readers..
Now that we are into the first full week of the New Year how many of you are still writing 2018 on your checks and how many have put your resolutions on the back burner? It sure is hard to start those things we try to do better in the new year.. I think if we try to do better all year is hard, we should take it day by day and then that resolution wouldn’t be so over whelming..
This Thursday the Clam Lake Community Club will hold it’s first monthly Potluck Dinner/meeting of the 2019. The meeting starts at 5pm with potluck to follow..so, bake up a tasty treat..leftover cookies or try a new recipe, we’ll be happy to be your testers.. So, no matter what you make we are sure it will be tasty!
There has been a few fishermen or women trying their luck on Upper and Lower Clam Lake’s the past couple weeks in anticipation for the upcoming Elk Country Atv Club’s Annual Ice Fishing Contest.
The day is Saturday, January 19th
Time: 8am to 3pm
Place: Upper Clam Lake
So, bring all your gear and come enjoy the fun..there will be food and refreshments ready for you on the lake.. This event is always a great event so,come on out..if you have any questions you can call Rick Guthman at 715-794-2298.
