Old Business:

No out reach cards this month.

Lynne brought attendees current on the progress of the Glidden Historical Society. She believes we will be able to transport the donated black-board this year. Bill will see to a plaque indicating donation.

This years fireworks were deemed a great success with applause for Bud and the following: Bud, Ace, Doug McDougall, Chris Williams and Derek Bay arranging the set up; Jerry, Lea, Jan and Brian food and beverages; Joan with daughters Kim, Kelly and granddaughters Kayla & Clarissa scooping popcorn and rounding out the event Jim & Andrea Krygoski providing music. Bud mentioned he has backup for future displays.

New Business:

Dan Allen presented plans to landscape the Clam Lake cemetery. He and Kathy Erickson will independently take on this project. They will be placing collection jars around town businesses and soliciting community members. It was the consensus of attendees the community club would be supportive of this endeavor and willing to list it as a club committee with Dan and Kathy committee heads. It was moved by Bud and seconded by John. Motion carried. Further, Kathy introduced the idea of Wreaths Across America as another project for the cemetery. Again members embraced the idea and offered club’s bookkeeping for transparency.

There being no new or further business to conduct it was moved by Andrea to adjourn and seconded by Cindy at 6:10 pm. Motion carried.

Respectfully submitted by Bill MacLeod, Secretary/Treasurer.
