Happy Saturday! It’s a dreary day today, kind of rainy and it looks a bit hazy across Lower Clam Lake. What another beautiful fall day….
Last Thursday, October 13th we held the monthly potluck at the Clam Lake Community Club, there were 20 people in attendance 14 regulars and 5 new members, plus one friend. We all welcomed the following new members: Kathy Arias, Kish and Fred Hodgeman, Brian and Doris Johnson and Kathy’s sister-in-law Esperanza Arias… After a brief meeting we all took a moment of silence for Donny Eder, Who passed away and for Bud Rubeck who is a hospital patient at Miller Dwan in Duluth… There was an abundance of food for the potluck diners to enjoy and after dinner it was hi-stakes bingo. It sure was a lot of fun and we hope to see you all next time….
It was decided that the Potluck Dinners would continue through the winter month’s except in bad weather….
The Clam Lake Community Club now has a post office box. It is P.O. Box 6 Clam Lake, WI 54517. This is for all your Community Club correspondence…
The service for Donny Eder will be held this Saturday, October 22. Visitation will begin at 10am and the Service will begin at 11am. Donny will be laid to rest in the Clam Lake Cemetery…Our thoughts and prayers are with Jane and the Kids during this difficult time….
Here’s an update on Bud: Bud has been moved to Miller Dwan for intense rehab. He had a rough day on 10/14. We all send our thoughts and prayers to Bud and Julie during this very difficult time. You can track Bud progress on Caring Bridge…
