Clam Lake News & Events

This week we start out on a sad note as we learn of the passing of Orlie Staves.. Our Sincerest Sympathies go out to Peggy and the family.. You are all in our Thoughts and Prayers..

As of the writing of this column November 12th there are only eleven days until Thanksgiving and with said Christmas won’t be so far behind..So, we’ve picked the date for the Clam Lake Community Club Christmas Party. This year it will be held on Thursday, December 14th at 5pm..( There will be no meeting that night) The club will furnish the cheese and crackers and refreshments and we will also have the regular “potluck” dinner fare furnished by the party goers…There will also be a gift exchange (if you choose to participate) of $15 man’s gift for a man and lady’s gift for a lady… So, mark the date down and search your cookbook for that perfect dish to pass and don’t forget to pick up your gift exchange and we’ll see you on the 14th of December…

Get Well Wishes go out this week to Kish Hodgeman who is a patient at Hayward Hospital..We all wish her a Speedy Recovery and hope she’s back home soon…

It’s suppose to be in the 30’s this week and partly sunny.. so, get out there and enjoy!

Until Next time…Be Kind!
