We are expected to get rain for the next 2 days and the weeks end is suppose to be cool and sunny..That sure will be nice for a change. Get out there and enjoy!!
Thank you to Father Papi for wanting to come out and do the Autumn Mass at St. George’s Chapel. 47 People attended the event and they were from all over our area, Clam Lake, Glidden, Park Falls, Hayward, Spider Lake (Sawyer County) and various tourist and summer people from our area. It was a true communal event..
The Clam Lake Forest Riders Snowmobile Club will hold their October Meat Raffle this week. When: Saturday, October 13th from 3pm-5pm. Where: Ransom’s Place on Hwy 77 in downtown Clam Lake. The meat raffled off comes from the Sixth Street Market in Ashland, Wisconsin. Remember the club’s November 10th raffle where all the proceeds from that raffle go to our areas local charities.. So, mark those dates down, that’s Saturday, October 13th and Saturday, November 10th.. For an afternoon of fun and a chance to put some meat in your freezer head to Ransom’s Place this Saturday..
This Thursday the Clam Lake Community Club will hold it’s monthly Potluck Dinner/ meeting at 5pm. First there will be a short meeting and then dinner.. So, Bake up a tasty treat and join your friends and neighbors for some good food and great conversation.
