Hello Reader’s!

It seems that the last week I’ve noticed everyone walking a little faster, the grocery stores a a lot busier. I guess that means everyone is in a hurry to enjoy summer before it slips away. The kids will get back into their school schedule and yes that means everybody will have to go back to work!

Labor Day is right around the corner and that means that the Clam Lake Chapel will close it’s doors for another year.

There will a lot of changes coming this month…so enjoy jet skiing, fishing and just plain lounging outside. ENJOY!!

On August 8th, the Clam Lake Community will host the 3rd Annual August Fest. This is a fun event for our town.  The dinner includes pulled pork, potato salad, beans and corn on the cob. the cost of that meal is: Adults: $8.50 for 12 and above. kids 6 to 12 is $4.50 and 6 and under is free. A single pulled pork sandwich is $5.00 (sandwich only!) There will be a Chinese Raffle, music from Noon to 3pm. by Richard Anderson and great company…..We hope to see you all there!

Get Well Wishes to Freddy Hodgeman who recently broke his ankle… We all wish you a speedy recovery!
