Today is Monday the 26th of October, Next week we begin November on Sunday. The weather-people are talking a wintery mix on Wednesday, you all know that mix will not accumulate into anything but, let’s face it snow is right around the corner…..Did you get all your lawn ornaments put away? Every year there are a few casualties of winter and if they are your favorites it’s your loss…..
It’s Monday October 18, where did the month go? Pretty soon we’ll be talking about that dirty four letter word, that’s coming soon! Not today, it’s going to be 64 degrees! Whoopee!
As we start this week that marks mid October we are enjoying some nice days, yesterday the mercury settled at 79 degrees in Hayward. We did not get that warm as the mercury at my house was 73 degrees! Anyway it was a beautiful day. I hope you all enjoyed it…..
Good early Monday morning Readers!
It looks like it’s going to be a beautiful day out there, maybe a little rain according to the Duluth Weather. But, as we all know it’s only a weather prediction….
I have to apologize for the lack of article last week, things just got away from me and I couldn’t get it in. My err….
As we start the month of October this week , I know already, it’s time to look at the trusty birthday calendar. so here’s the birthdays of your friends and neighbors:
It’s beautiful Sunday afternoon, the mercury on our side of Lower Clam Lake is settled in at 66 degrees. There’s a light breeze and if you sit in the sun it’s pretty nice. Sometimes fall like is the best!
To err is human and I’m at fault for the err I made last week.
The Bugle Days Dinner will be held on Saturday September 12 (not the 10th) I hope I haven’t caused a great deal of confusion…
The next Potluck Dinner/meeting will be held this Thursday at 5pm. The meeting is first, then dinner and then” High Stakes” Bingo. So, bake up a tasty treat and join your friends and neighbors…..
Good Sunday Evening Readers…
It’s about 6:30 pm and the mercury is quickly falling, as we reached a balmy 78 degrees today the night should be pretty comfortable. I’m hoping for another spectacular sunset. It seems to change to a beautiful red as it hits the tops of the trees and the reflection on the lake is awesome! The beauty of our Northwood’s…. there’s nowhere better than this!
What a soggy Sunday this turned out to be! Once in awhile the sun will peak out and then I’ll run outside to pick some more flowers be fore they all blow away and it’s starts to drizzle…. oh, well there’s always Monday…..
There’s a correction as I was mis-informed. The Forest Service informational open-house will be held from 3:30pm to 7pm on September 30th, Note the time change……
